Does the Bible Say We Should Eat Grains?

Does the Bible Say We Should Eat Grains? – Wellness Mama.

We’re going to come down against the thesis expressed above.

Jesus distributed bread.  Bread is made from wheat. Therefore wheat cannot be inherently bad for all people just because it’s wheat.

No reason to pay attention to the idea that wheat 2,000 years ago was not the same varieties commonly used today.  You could say the same thing about any plant from that time period.  Natural hybridization takes place even before we get a chance to combine varieties to enhance some desired trait.  It’s not a bad thing.

The seeds of wheat, is the part we eat. Seeds 2,000 years ago would be nutritionally virtually identical to seeds now even if the plant looks quite different.

And there’s no reason to think you can go get the seed from 2,000 years ago just because the variety name is the same.  It’s been 2,000 years.

If you are gluten intolerant, you know you are, or you have a lot of stomach issues you may later find out are medically related to wheat. Otherwise — wheat is fine.
