McDonald's Coffee

McDonald’s wants to sell the coffee ‘gold standard’ | Fox News.

Y’know, our neighborhood McDonalds has a seatarea with couches and comfy chairs, and a fireplace.  But I don’t go sit there even though I work at home and theoretically could sit there and work via free wi-fi. Why?

Because it’s noisy, there are hundreds of people walking past on their way to go to the counter or use the nicest consistently free roadside bathrooms available.

And it’s a fast food place.  It’s not relaxing.

I must admit, tonight I had a cofee with an a shot of espresso for 50 cents more, and it was a VERY GOOD cup of coffee.  Good as Starbucks?  Yeah, not as over roasted, but then again, not as Starbucksy overroasted.  For drive through coffee, honestly, I’ll probably continue to make my favorite brew at home if I’m relatively close, otherwise, maybe, yeah maybe McDonalds.   But I’m not gonna sit there and try to hang out.  Sorry.
