Cheapest in terms of nutrition per dollar … 2 thin beef patties and a slice of cheese on a small bun.

It’s NOT cheapest long term.   Child, please.  Don’t pretend you go to McDonald’s and get one McDouble and a glass of water.  On average you get at least twice that.

Over 85% of type 2 diabetics are overweight.   Being type 2 diabetic costs you about $5,000 per year out of pocket, and costs the US health system over $200 billion per year in total.  Money which should be spent curing cancer and HIV, is being spent managing the side effects of your fatness.

50% of the average American food budget goes to restaurant food.  Being as we got progressively fatter as that percentage grew, it’s going to be hard to claim that restaurant food is the great deal you may think it is.
