How to not crave the food you see on TV

Best way I can think of …

What you see on TV is not what they hand you at the drive-through.

The TV image … internet image … print ad .. is an artist’s rendering of the food product.  Often none of the things you see in the image are actually food.  Cheese would melt, ice cream would melt, wrappings would soak through.  Ice cream is replaced with solid shortening so it looks right.  You get the picture there.

Beyond that, the actual product you are handed is made by someone who isn’t paid very well and in all likelihood isn’t going to be there once they find a better job that doesn’t involve food handling.  It’s not going to be that pretty.

Think of that when you see the food image.  The image is pretty, the actuality is not nearly as nice.
