What to do if the roads are closed

Personally a pretty engaging question, as it’s slicker than snot on a doorknob outside right now.

Let’s assume your Plan A choice is something outdoors or at the gym.  Not going to happen.

Let’s assume your Plan B is already at least mentally defined, and you have some form of exercise you can do at home.

Move on to that.  You do not get a free day because the weather is bad, unless you have a free day coming up in your program which you can use today.

What if you don’t have a Plan B plan and have no equipment, and no workout DVDs,  at home?    Here are some ideas:

  1. Does your TV subscription include a fitness channel with a fitness channel? Check that.
  2. YouTube is loaded with exercise videos.  Here’s a good place to start looking:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtYgmDEddug
  3. Put on music and dance.
  4. Do heavy cleaning.
  5. Go for a walk in the snow, if you can do so safely.
