Which smartphone has the best fitness apps?

Runkeeper

The iPhone is known for its wide variety of fitness apps, but fortunately the top few most useful apps are available on both iPhones and Droids:

RunKeeper

Couch to 5K (several varieties)

Lose It

MyFitnessPal tracker

… and the major diet programs have apps for both, or web apps that work on either, so you’re not going to go wrong either way.

As far as the sheer usefulness of each app when you’re out for your exercise session, it’s a wash.  iPhones have a simpler user interface but Droids have more snappy responsiveness, IMHO.  Your results my vary.
