Which should I do first, strength training or cardio?

That’s actually a REALLY good question. There’s always been a lot of back and forth on this one.

If you pump your cardio first, you’ll be tired by the time you get to the weights.  If you rock your weights first you’ll be tired when you get to your cardio.

Here’s one suggestion that keeps working well.  On days when you’re doing mostly or entirely  leg resistance training, just hit enough cardio to warm up those leg muscles, which for me is about 10 minutes.  Then do the leg routine you want to do, then finish out your cardio.

On the other days, change it up, doing one first one day and the other first the next.
