Weight loss project tracking on the cheap

You can go all in for subscription web services, calories-burned devices, online or in-person paid meetings.  But what if your price is $0?

You can do fine for free.  Skip the calorie counting guidebooks and just use the Google, as in “Subway tuna salad sandwich calories” or even easier, use a free account on Livestrong, SparkPeople, or LoseIt.  Those all have smartphone versions too.  No extra charge, last I checked.

Log your weight and be really sure to faithfully log your intake calories, no matter how good or bad your day is, and you’ll see results — typically 4-8 pounds per month.
