Do I need milk in my diet?

Not really.  Humans are the only species that drinks milk after they’re not babies anymore.  The are areas of the world with very high rates of lactose intolerance, and as it works out those are the areas with the most heart attacks, cancer and obesity, and the areas with the least dairy consumption are the least.

As we were told as kids, is the perfect food.  For baby cows.  Which go from being a weight you can easily pick up, to weighing as much as a subcompact car a year later.

Not that you should not consume any dairy.  But there is no particular need to.
